Its your first official fathers day as a Dad! I know Ev is going to make a wonderful dad to Cade as we all watch, learn and grow into our new roles as father, mother, and son!

Well we survived our 1st week at home together! Luckily my mom stayed with us this week which was wonderful b/c it allowed me an extra set of hands to keep up on the housework, laundry, groceries etc. while I tended to Cade. Ev's parents provided us meals all week which was great!! People have been showering us with cards, gifts of boy clothes, flowers, texts you name it! So thank you everyone for all the well wishes!!
He's doing great waking to eat every 2-3 hours and he is sleeping well, becoming more alert during the daytime hours. He is gaining about an 1oz/day which is right on track. He had his 1st bath at home this week that Nana gave to him. He did NOT like it though. We had two days filled with appts and errands and he did great. We both needed a nap after that though:) He goes in Thursday to be circumsized-which I am sure will NOT be a fun outing for the poor lil' man.
After his nap he took a long nap for the first time in his very own crib wearing his bath robe!
