auto white balance vs. custom wb

I've had my DSLR camera for 4 years now and am still learning things. I decided to teach myself today about AWB (auto white balance) vs. custom.  While Cade was bathing I decided this was the perfect WHITE and lighting to do this. Plus I'd get some cute pics of my kid in the tub!

So here is the AUTO, as you can see its very yellow looking:

Here it is on custom mode, much more white and true to color for the bathroom tub:
